Dinsmore & Shohl’s Harvey Cohen has been reappointed to the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Law Firm Management Committee and will serve as its North American Forum liaison.

The Law Firm Management Committee provides attorneys in management roles with tools to improve their business development skills. The committee focuses on assisting attorneys worldwide to enhance their practice and its governance and created a “Best Practices Guideline, among many other practical and helpful resources for law firm managers.

Cohen also serves as Membership Officer of the IBA’s Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprises Committee, will become its Vice Chair at new years and is also a member of the IBA’s Bar Issues Commission and the IBA Council, which serves as the member governing body of the IBA. The IBA is the world’s leading organization of international legal practitioners, counting more than 50,000 attorneys and 200 bar associations among its members.

At Dinsmore, Cohen practices corporate law encompassing nearly every facet of domestic and international business. He routinely represents outbound U.S. businesses and inbound non-U.S.-owned entities. He chairs the firm’s International Business Practice Group and is the Co-Chair Emeritus of ALFA® International’s International Law Practice Group.
