About the IBA Committees
The IBA Council is the governing body of the International Bar Association. The Council proposes, debates and passes resolutions and provides each national/regional law society or bar association the opportunity to discuss issues and problems facing its own organization’s members.
The Bar Issues Commission aims to provide an opportunity for Member Organizations representatives to meet with and learn from one another and to discuss and work together on issues of common interest.
The Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprises Committee’s mission is to address issues of particular interest to startups, owner-managed, closely held and family businesses and their legal advisors, and to organizations with ambitions for growth.
