Dinsmore & Shohl’s Morgantown March Madness event was a huge success and raised more than $3000 for Milan Puskar Health Right.

The Morgantown office of Dinsmore hosted 100 people at West Virginia University’s Milan Puskar Stadium for the fundraising event on March 19, 2015. Attendees enjoyed watching the first round games of the NCAA basketball tournament.

“We had a great time watching the tournament and catching up with our clients and friends,” said David Thomas, Morgantown Office Managing Partner. “Our guests got the chance to support Health Right through raffles and silent auctions of sports memorabilia that included photos of Mountaineer greats donated by Dale Sparks. We appreciate the generosity of those who attended and supported this event.”

Milan Puskar Health Right provides a wide range of services from primary medical care to dental referrals, vision screenings, mental health services and medications free of charge for low-income patients.

“We are proud to once again partner with Dinsmore & Shohl in this effort to raise money to improve the health of everyone in our community,” said Laura Jones, Executive Director of Milan Puskar Health Right. “The proceeds from the event help to fill health care gaps that still exist for low-income residents of North Central West Virginia.”

The Morgantown office features 13 attorneys with a strong focus on natural resources law, mine and workplace safety, banking and creditor rights, estate and family wealth planning and governmental relations. They also handle a variety of corporate, employment, litigation and real estate matters.
