Elizabeth Shaffer Named to WAVE Foundation Board

Elizabeth Shaffer, an associate in Dinsmore & Shohl's Cincinnati office, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for WAVE Foundation. Shaffer will serve a three-year term on the Board. Her primary responsibilities include participating in fundraising, networking and relationship-building activities, as well as, monitoring the organization's legal standards and ethical norms.

Shaffer is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. Her practice primarily involves commercial litigation, focusing on the defense of claims brought pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related state consumer protection laws. She also focuses on insurance coverage and insurance extra-contractual litigation. Shaffer earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.A. from Centre College.
