Experienced Bankruptcy Partner Joins Dinsmore & Shohl

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce that Ellen Arvin Kennedy has joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate Department and member of the firm's Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group. Kennedy moved from Fowler Measle & Bell PLLC to Dinsmore & Shohl's Lexington office.

Kennedy's practice focuses on commercial bankruptcy, insolvency and creditors’ rights. She represents Chapter 11 debtors, creditors' committees, general trade creditors in bankruptcy courts as well as clients in general commercial matters. In addition to her legal practice, Kennedy remains active in the community serving on the Bankruptcy Committee for a number of professional organizations including the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. Kennedy earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and her B.A. from Centre College.
