Michelle Browning Coughlin Joins Dinsmore’s Louisville Office

Dinsmore & Shohl welcomes Michelle Browning Coughlin to the firm’s Louisville office. Coughlin will practice out of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Coughlin comes to Dinsmore from PNC Bank Wealth Management Group where she worked as a Vice President, Senior Trust Advisor. Prior to PNC, Michelle was an associate at Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP where her practice focused on Intellectual Property and Privacy & Data Security issues. Coughlin provided counsel on trademark use, protection and enforcement and advised her clients on data security issues, assisting with HIPAA, COPPA, FTC, and other privacy compliance regulations.

Coughlin also spent time at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP as a Summer Associate. Prior to law school, Coughlin worked at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN, and at the Center for Women and Families in Louisville.

Coughlin earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received a Master of Social Work from Spalding University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Western Kentucky University.
