Peter Draugelis Named President of Oakley Community Council

Peter A. Draugelis, a member of Dinsmore & Shohl's Cincinnati office, has been elected to serve as President of the Oakley Community Council. Draugelis will serve a one-year term as President and assumes the post from Dave Schaff, Business Banking Officer with U.S. Bank.

As President, Draugelis will lead a team of 12 board members. His responsibilities will include overseeing Oakley's financial and budgetary affairs, engaging residents in community events such as Oakley After Hours, and promoting the development and growth of Oakley businesses and services, which include the completion of the major renovations to the Oakley Square streetscape.

Draugelis is a member of the firm's Corporate Department. He assists clients with various business transactions, including forming new businesses, structuring purchases, selling and merging existing businesses, and acting in a general counsel capacity for small and medium sized companies that do not have in-house counsel. Draugelis earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.A. from the Ohio State University.
