William A. Sherman, II Joins Product Liability Advisory Council

Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that William A. Sherman, II has been selected as a Sustaining Member of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC).

PLAC is an invitation only organization comprised of leading product manufacturers and product liability defense counsels in the U.S. and abroad. The Sustaining Members of PLAC are an elite group of “by-invitation-only” defense trial and appellate attorneys with deep experience in complex litigation matters. They are called upon to share their collective wisdom, derived from hundreds of jury trials and appeals conducted across the entire product litigation.

Dinsmore has six members in PLAC, including Bill Blodgett, David Schaefer, Lin West, Dr. Frank Woodside, and Craig York.

Sherman is the managing partner of Dinsmore’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. As a litigator, he brings extensive trial experience to his practice having been involved with the firm’s defense of mass tort class action suits with emphasis on product liability defense. Sherman has successfully litigated cases in areas of patent infringement, product liability, ERISA, securities, class actions, federal administrative proceedings, construction, automobile warranty, employment discrimination and a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
