Quinten's practice focuses on intellectual property law, with a concentration on patent preparation and prosecution. He has experience preparing applications in the chemical, mechanical, and medical spaces and prosecuting applications in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition to his patent preparation and prosecution practice, Quinten is involved with preparing freedom to operate, patentability, and validity opinions. He has conducted intellectual property due diligence as part of merger and acquisition activities. Quinten also has experience preparing and reviewing intellectual property licensing agreements.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Quinten received his J.D. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as an editor on the UMKC Law Review Editorial Board and participated in the school’s Intellectual Property Clinic.
