Scott focuses his practice on intellectual property law. His experience includes prosecuting U.S. utility and design patent applications for Japanese clients in various technical arts, advising international attorneys and clients on various aspects of U.S. patent law, acting as communications liaison with clients and law firms in the U.S. and Europe, and preparing patent applications for domestic clients.
He lived in Tokyo, Japan from 2015 – 2019 while working as a U.S. patent attorney for a Japanese patent firm.
Scott is admitted only in Maryland. His practice is limited to certain matters and proceedings before federal agencies and federal courts.
