Biography
Sharon hails from a family of health care providers and trained and worked as a registered nurse before attending law school. For over 30 years, she has represented health care providers, hospitals, and other institutions in matters related to medical malpractice, credentialing, regulatory compliance, and related litigation.
As a litigation partner Sharon has vigorously defended doctors, nurses, hospitals, and medical facilities, provided good counsel to medical professionals through administrative investigations, and worked on behalf of abused and neglected children as counsel for the Child Protection Team in Florida.
In addition to health care and medical malpractice, Sharon has litigated employment matters, products and general liability matters and civil rights disputes in state and federal court.
She has been a working mother while devoted to her extended family and has put in the long hours to become a trusted advisor, a person able to resolve hard cases, and an accomplished trial attorney who has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to prosecute and defend tough cases.
