Steven R. Chadwick

Steven applies his vast experience from a successful career on Wall Street and as an attorney in the real estate practice group of a global law firm to provide high quality legal services to his clients.  This unique combination of business experience and legal proficiency leads businesses requiring practical, cost-effective solutions to contact Steven to serve as a trusted counselor and ally.  Whether they are seeking guidance relative to new entity formation, require outside counsel to negotiate and guide acquisitions and dispositions, or need assistance with zoning, permitting and entitlements, Steven’s prior experience and Dinsmore’s vast network of knowledgeable attorneys ensure consistent delivery of the high caliber work product his clients expect.

He is fortunate to have a diverse clientele, providing services ranging from outside general counsel to serving as national coordinating real estate counsel for a publicly held, Fortune 500 company.  Regardless of the client’s size or the scope of its needs, Steven routinely leverages Dinsmore’s national footprint and capabilities to provide top tier service, with a local’s familiarity.  He has previously served as project lead on several significant diligence projects for various clients, requiring management of multi-office teams and delivery of high-quality work product under heavy time constraints.

In addition to enjoying a robust real estate practice with a focus on traditional development, leasing, and acquisitions/dispositions, Steven has niche experience relative to coal, oil, and natural gas rights in the Utica and Marcellus Shale plays and routinely provides counsel to clients specializing in coal, oil, and natural gas extraction and developers of pipeline and power generation facilities.  He is a registered title agent and a principal of Mercantile Settlement Services, Dinsmore’s wholly-owned title agency.

Although Steven prides himself on being both a trusted adviser and friend to his clients, his greatest achievement is his family, and he enjoys spending time traveling, hiking, skateboarding and swimming with his wife and two daughters.
