Dinsmore Honors Top Mentors and Outstanding Associate

Dinsmore & Shohl honored partners J. Michael Cooney and Thomas W. Hess with the firm’s Mentor of the Year award. Adrianne C. Strong, an associate, received the Difference Maker Award. The three attorneys were honored at Dinsmore’s annual Attorney Dinner on September 11, 2015.

Cooney and Hess were selected for their dedication to educating, mentoring and advancing the careers of their fellow attorneys. Cooney is a Partner in the Cincinnati office and Chair of the firm’s Estate and Trust group. Hess practices out of the firm’s Columbus office and is Chair of the Healthcare and Public Policy group.

Adrianne Strong received the Difference Maker Award in Memory of Alice J. Neeley for her dedication to the firm and its clients, her uncompromising ethics and professionalism and her positive attitude. The award was established in 2004 to honor Alice Neeley, a former associate who inspired others with her dedication and positive attitude through her battle with cancer. Strong is an associate in the Lexington office and is a member of the Litigation Department.

Dinsmore presents the Mentor of the Year and Difference Maker Awards annually, with candidates being nominated by their peers and selected by a committee. The firm also honored Clifford A. Roe with the Retired Partner Award.
