Healthcare Partner Bryan Murray Appointed to Pittsburgh HIV/AIDS Commission

Bryan Murray, a healthcare partner in Dinsmore’s Pittsburgh office, has been appointed by the City of Pittsburgh to serve as a Commissioner on its HIV/AIDS Commission. In this role, Bryan will work with fellow commissioners to provide policy recommendations that strengthen the City’s approach to treatment, and its support of HIV and STD prevention and education programs.

Created in 2012, the HIV/AIDS Commission plays a significant role within Pittsburgh’s healthcare community and works closely with the mayor and area hospital systems.

“I’m deeply grateful to the Pittsburgh City Council for its trust in appointing me as a Commissioner on the City’s HIV/AIDS Commission,” Bryan said. “I am very excited to serve our city in this capacity and to contribute to the work of my fellow Commissioners, City leadership and healthcare providers to ensure our community continues to have access to quality and affordable health care.”

At Dinsmore, Bryan counsels health care and life sciences industry clients through complex regulatory, transactional and litigation issues. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in the federal 340B drug pricing program and related drug pricing issues. His 340B Program-related work is critically important to the financial survival of safety net health care providers, including disproportionate share hospitals, children’s hospitals, critical access hospitals, rural hospitals and federal grantee clinics.
