Nicole focuses her practice on torts and medical malpractice. She represents clients in complex injury cases, including claims arising from medical negligence, professional liability, and other civil tort matters. She has experience handling high-stake, fact-intensive cases, translating medical details into legal arguments, and managing sensitive matters. Nicole has previously handled whistleblower matters involving alleged Paycheck Protection Program loan fraud arising from the COVID-19 relief program.
In addressing clients’ unique and complex issues, Nicole is not afraid to speak up and ask questions. She takes a personable, easy-going approach with her clients while remaining committed to achieving the best possible outcome. Earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do taught Nicole discipline, patience, and the importance of preparation. She is also an advocate for public transportation policy and sustainable infrastructure.
Nicole received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. After graduating, Nicole served as a Law Clerk to Judge Maurice Ross in the Washington, DC Superior Court. She then served as a Trial Attorney with the Office of the General Counsel, Litigation Section, at the Small Business Administration in Washington, DC before returning home to Louisville.
