Juana D. Miranda

Associate Of Counsel

Juana Miranda’s practice focuses on representing businesses in creditor workouts, bankruptcy, and commercial disputes. She has experience navigating distressed credit environments across institutional, private, and CMBS structures. Her work includes complex financial litigation, Article 9 secured transactions, commercial real estate foreclosures, Chapter 11 proceedings, bankruptcy estate governance, and trusteeships. Most recently, she worked on the joint administration of four Chapter 11 entities in Hawaii.

Prior to joining the firm, Juana served as in-house counsel for a large commercial real estate portfolio. Watching agreements function under pressure sharpened both her drafting instincts and transactional judgment, revealing how parties protect position through covenant structure, risk allocation, due diligence, and capital stack recalibration. Her transactional experience is a natural complement to her litigation work in the same space.
