Mary Katherine focuses her practice on tort law and insurance defense. She has experience handling a wide range of litigation matters, including conducting in-depth legal research and drafting pleadings and motions across diverse legal issues.
Prior to joining Dinsmore, Mary Katherine gained experience practicing in a variety of legal and professional settings. This diverse background allows her to approach complex legal matters with a well-rounded and practical perspective.
In addition to her legal practice, Mary Katherine is actively involved in business and nonprofit communities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Middlefork Financial Group, Hyden Citizens Bank, Farmers State Bank, and Farmers and Traders Bank, as well as Kentucky Animal Tales.
Mary Katherine earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and an LL.M. in Business Law (Tax Track) from UCLA School of Law. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Bellarmine University.
Outside the office, Mary Katherine enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
