As Chief of Human Resources Officer, Hillary leads the Firm’s human capital strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives, culture, and growth priorities. She oversees the design and administration of the Firm’s benefits, payroll and performance management systems, while guiding the Firm’s approach to employment policies and workplace regulations.
With more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry, Hillary began her career as a paralegal and later earned a master’s degree in human resource management. She joined Dinsmore’s leadership team in 2017 as office administrator of the Lexington office, supporting operations across multiple locations. She transitioned into a full-time HR leadership role in 2020 and assumed leadership of the department in 2024.
Hillary focuses on creating an environment where employees can do their best work, supporting both individual success and Firm performance. She plays a key role in Firm growth, working closely with lateral partners and merging firms to support smooth transitions and onboarding.
She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators, and past president of the Kentucky ALA Chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a master’s degree in human resource management.
Outside of work, Hillary enjoys time with her family and supporting her children in their academic and athletic activities. She lives for weekends as a track team and horse show mom.
