John focuses his practice on real estate matters, assisting his team in serving a sophisticated roster of commercial clients. Prior to joining Dinsmore, John practiced law in Delaware where he worked on a broad range of matters involving corporate litigation, alternative entities advisement, and commercial real estate. He later expanded his practice to include advising on local government matters, including real estate transactions, and practicing civil litigation.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University and his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law. During law school, he served as the Lead Articles Editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review and twice won the W&L Law Representation in Mediation Competition.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, trying new restaurants, biking and climbing, martial arts, and getting up to speed on Cincinnati sports teams.
