Jay focuses his practice on government investigations, white collar defense, and False Claims Act matters, with a strong emphasis on litigation strategy.
Jay’s legal career began as a law clerk for Judge Pierre H. Bergeron at the Ohio First District Court of Appeals, where he gained broad experience across a variety of case types, including criminal law, professional malpractice, custody disputes, and civil contract matters. This foundation helped shape his legal perspective, preparing him for work at a national law firm where he honed his skills in estate planning and developed a deep interest in litigation prior to joining Dinsmore.
Jay’s diverse experiences inform his approach to each case. He is dedicated to understanding not just the legal complexities of his clients’ challenges but also the emotional and personal factors that drive them. His goal is to provide thoughtful, strategic representation tailored to his clients’ unique needs.
