Owner Based Planning- New BEI Legal Resource Center

Join us for an in-depth session where we will cover the essential objectives of Owner Based Planning and introduce BEI’s online OBP planning assessment tool. We’ll discuss recommendations that provide signifi cant impact to business owners and explore the new BEI Legal Resource Center (LRC), which assists BEI members in communicating recommendations and implementing solutions. Attendees will gain insights into various sample solutions, including equity-based and cash-based incentive programs for employees, non-qualifi ed deferred compensation plans, phantom equity plans, and equity appreciation rights plans. We will also review and update buy/sell agreements, examine buy/sell life insurance structures, delve into family estate planning strategies, and discuss ESOPs. Finally, we’ll provide an overview and dissection of Shareholder, Operating, and Limited Partnership Agreements.
