Briana J. Kutinsky

Associate

Briana is an employment attorney who partners with employers to navigate everyday workplace challenges with confidence and clarity. Her practice centers on providing practical, business‑minded guidance on personnel decisions, compliance obligations, policy development, and resolving workplace concerns before they escalate into litigation. Clients appreciate her ability to translate complex employment laws into clear, actionable advice that supports both their workforce and their business goals.

Her background includes representing employers in a wide range of employment matters, which gives her a grounded understanding of how disputes develop and how they can be avoided. That litigation experience informs the preventative strategies she offers today, helping clients make informed, risk‑aware decisions at every stage of the employment relationship.

Briana regularly advises on issues involving hiring and onboarding practices, wage and hour compliance, employee discipline and termination, leave administration, accommodation requests, workplace investigations, and drafting or updating handbooks and policies. She is also experienced in responding to administrative charges, working with employers to present well‑organized, thoughtful responses that protect their interests while keeping business operations on track.

In addition to her practice, Briana taught Civil Procedure Lab as an adjunct professor at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law. That role strengthened her command of procedural strategy and further shaped her balanced, clear communication style—skills she now brings to the employers she serves.
