Chris brings nearly two decades of experience guiding clients through complex civil litigation. His practice focuses on representing insurance companies in high-stakes disputes, including first-party bad faith claims. He also handles matters involving breach of contract, consumer fraud, trade secret misappropriation, and other business-related claims for insurance clients and also companies in the financial services and construction industries. With a strong foundation in legal writing and appellate advocacy, Chris is equipped to manage every phase of litigation from early strategy through trial and appeal.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Chris gained extensive experience representing businesses of all sizes on a national basis. Additionally, he spent more than eight years with the Colorado Attorney General’s office. In that role, he advised state boards and agencies and represented them in litigation and gained practical insight into regulatory and governmental processes.

Chris approaches every case with a focus on collaboration and practical solutions. He works closely with clients to understand their goals, assess risks, and identify opportunities, ensuring strategies are tailored to achieve the best possible outcome.

Outside the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids’ activities, and exploring national parks—he’s visited 23 so far.
