Biography

Dan is the government relations manager at DSD Advisors, LLC, the full-service government relations firm that partners with public, private, and nonprofit clients to achieve their public policy goals at the local, state, and federal levels. He is responsible for a variety of policy development and communications support functions on behalf of all DSD clients.

Before joining DSD Advisors, Dan served as an aide at the Ohio Statehouse through the Ohio Legislative Service Commission’s Legislative Fellowship Program. His experience includes navigating and coordinating advocacy in the state budget process, managing constituent services and directing official district communications to communities across the state, and advising on legislative policy and issue management. Dan also has past experience in community organization roles, and has been a part of campaigns that generated significant public engagement leading to effective outcomes in Ohio’s state government.

He received his B.A. in Public Management, Leadership, and Policy from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at the Ohio State University. While there, Dan participated in the Washington Academic Internship Program working in Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Office of Communications and Legislative Affairs. He is an avid supporter of the Ohio State University Marching Band and is an active member of the TBDBITL Alumni Club. Dan resides in Old North Columbus.
