E. Mackie Anderson

Biography

Mackie is an associate whose practice focuses on commercial litigation. She has experience as a member of the General Liability and Appellate Practice Groups at a national, general practice law firm where she handled a variety of insurance defense cases involving employment discrimination; medical malpractice; Eighth Amendment constitutional violations; and premises liability. Mackie regularly performs legal research and analysis; designs litigation plans; and drafts legal memoranda, motions, and briefs, including at the appellate level.

She received her J.D. from University of Cincinnati College of Law where she was an Executive Member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review; Founder of D.R.E.A.M, the law school’s first disability law organization; and President of University of Cincinnati Law Women.

Before joining Dinsmore, Mackie was a student-fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project where she worked to exonerate innocent people on death row or sentenced to life in prison.
