340B Legal Focus: Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Laws 

Topics such as (a) Beneficiary Inducement Rules related to providing patients free or no-cost goods, services, etc. (ex., transportation, housing/utility assistance) and how these concepts can be compliantly addressed; (b) Anti-Kickback Rules related to the provision of referrals, business, or other benefits between providers in exchange for reimbursable health care business and how to identify and address risk areas; (c) in-house pharmacy vendor relationships and the legal/compliance pitfalls associated with the same such as licensure rules, oversight/control requirements, data privacy, employee/independent contractor relationships, etc., will be presented.
