Biography
Jacob focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on tort matters and complex disputes. His strategic approach to client matters has been shaped by a broad range of judicial clerkships, including with Judge Susan Prose in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, Judge John Parker in the Northern District of Texas, and Judge David M. Gormley in the Ohio Court of Common Pleas. He also externed for Judge Patricia A. Millett on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit during law school.
These experiences exposed Jacob to a wide spectrum of legal issues and courtroom dynamics, offering valuable insight into how judges evaluate cases. He uses this broad perspective helping his client understand and anticipate how the court may view their matters and provide them legal analysis and practical, strategic guidance.
Clients appreciate Jacob’s ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice. Whether drafting motions or preparing for trial, he is focused on helping clients navigate litigation with confidence and clarity.
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys hiking with his family, following English Premier League soccer and Ohio State football, and baking family recipes.
