Jordan "Jo" McMinn

Biography

Jo focuses her practice on litigation. Prior to joining Dinsmore, she clerked for Judge Frank W. Volk, of the U.S. District for the Southern District of West Virginia. Her time clerking gave her an invaluable “peek behind the curtain.” She monitored and maintained a full caseload and assisted the court with adjudicating criminal and civil matters. She also gained insight on how to be an effective advocate by observing countless hearings and serving as the law clerk on two trials. Jo received her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers honors and was recognized by the faculty and staff with the Fall 2020 Culture of Excellence Award. She also served as the Senior Managing Editor for Volume 123 of the West Virginia Law Review.
