Melissa Arvizu

Biography

Melissa focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, representing clients in disputes across state and federal courts in Texas. Her work spans a wide range of matters, including breach of contract, negligence, tortious interference, fraud, and real estate-related conflicts involving purchase and sale agreements, leases, and construction contracts. She also defends clients against first-party insurance claims.

Known for her thoughtful and strategic approach, Melissa helps clients navigate complex litigation with clarity and confidence. Her experience includes handling cases from pre-litigation through trial and appeal, and she is adept at identifying practical solutions that align with her clients’ business goals.

In addition to her litigation practice, Melissa is committed to pro bono service and actively volunteers with Kids in Need of Defense (K.I.N.D.), to advocate for children in immigration proceedings.
