Dinsmore Attends Commonwealth Center for Biomedical Excellence Groundbreaking

Dinsmore partners Sarah Cameron and Lewis Diaz were on hand earlier this month for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Commonwealth Center for Biomedical Excellence. This collaborative project will bring Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine-Northern Kentucky Campus to Covington’s riverfront. Dinsmore represented the Northern Kentucky Port Authority in the process, which is leading the buildout.

“It is an honor to be involved in a project that means so much for the future of the greater Cincinnati area and the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a whole,” Lewis said.

The $125 million Commonwealth Center for Biomedical Excellence was funded by the Kentucky General Assembly in 2024. Once complete, the project will return Chase Law to Covington, where it was located from 1972 to 1981, and allow UK College of Medicine the necessary space to grow its Northern Kentucky campus’ enrollment by 40%.
