Caitlin J. Grimes

Associate

Caitlin represents financial institutions and commercial clients in complex litigation and banking and finance matters, helping them address disputes, manage risk, and navigate challenging financial situations. Her work frequently involves insolvency‑related issues, real estate matters, and commercial transactions, where she focuses on practical solutions that support her clients’ business objectives. Caitlin is known for her thoughtful analysis and strategic approach, guiding clients efficiently through high‑stakes matters with clarity and confidence.

With prior experience working within the judicial system, Caitlin provides practical advice that improves her client’s legal strategies. Earlier in her career, she worked with appellate‑level decision‑makers to gain firsthand insight into how courts evaluate legal arguments and resolve disputes. That perspective informs her advocacy today, enabling her to anticipate issues, present streamlined arguments, and advocate effectively on behalf of her clients.

Outside the office, Caitlin values balance and perspective, interests that complement the discipline and focus she brings to her work. She enjoys travel, staying active, and spending time outdoors, grounding herself through yoga and reading. A lifelong equestrian, she applies the same preparation, adaptability, and composure learned in the arena to her legal practice. Guided by a belief in continuous improvement, Caitlin is inspired by her favorite Ernest Hemingway quote: “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self,” a perspective that informs her approach to both her work and personal growth.
