Chelsea focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on government investigations and litigation primarily under the federal False Claims Act (FCA). She has experience defending clients in both federal and state FCA litigation, government investigations, as well as conducting internal investigations on behalf of defense contractors and corporations.
She has represented clients in all phases of action under the FCA, from responding to civil investigative demands and administrative subpoenas to representing clients in qui tam lawsuits and direct actions. Chelsea has also helped her clients navigate large-scale civil and criminal investigations from multiple agencies, including the Department of Justice, NASA Office of the Inspector General, Defense Criminal Investigative Service, Security and Exchange Commission, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
Outside of the office, Chelsea is committed to volunteering and giving back to her community. She recently finished six years of service with the Cincinnati Bar Association culminating in her role as the Young Lawyer Section Chair. She is currently an executive board member of Adopt-A-Class, where she also volunteers on a monthly basis leading Dinsmore’s team at a local elementary school. Additionally, she serves as a mentor to local law students through the Federal Bar Association.
Prior to joining the firm, she was an assistant professor of Communication, teaching for several years at a private Indiana junior college.
