Jake focuses his practice on civil, commercial, and appellate litigation. His experience is wide-ranging, allowing him to serve his clients from pre-suit complications to appellate resolution. Jake has successfully represented individuals, municipalities, and private companies and corporations before the Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana Supreme Court, and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His appellate prowess affords him the unique ability to begin with the end in mind, strategically analyzing the outset of each case with an appellate perspective.
Jake is an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association, serving as a board member of the Appellate Practice Section. Jake also is a 2024 graduate of the Indiana Leadership Forum. While obtaining his J.D. from the I.U. McKinney School of Law, he was presented with the Norman Lefstein award for his pro bono involvement.
Outside of Dinsmore, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and infant son, golfing with his friends, and rooting on the Indiana Hoosiers.
