Lauren is an experienced civil litigator. She has represented individuals and businesses through all stages of litigation including pre-suit investigations, discovery, mediation, motion practice, trial, and appeals. She regularly appears in state and federal courts throughout Indiana and Kentucky. Lauren focuses her practice on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, and the defense of personal injury and general liability claims.
Lauren regularly advises insurance carriers regarding complex insurance coverage issues relating to a variety of insurance policies including but not limited to automobile policies, commercial general liability policies, homeowner policies, and excess policies. Lauren’s insurance coverage practice includes providing coverage opinions and counseling to insurance carriers and litigating insurance coverage disputes such as declaratory judgment actions and bad faith claims.
Lauren has defended a wide variety of personal injury and property damage claims on behalf of individuals and businesses including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, and general liability claims. Lauren has also defended medical professionals against medical negligence claims including physicians, hospitals, and mental health professionals.
Lauren is actively involved in Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
