Lauren maintains an active commercial litigation practice, representing small business and multinational companies. She helps clients navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges with clarity and confidence.
Lauren partners with clients in a wide range of insurance, healthcare, financial services, and commercial litigation matters. She works closely with clients through insurance bad faith actions, coverage evaluations, and compliance counseling. She also has experience developing Certificates of Need for healthcare clients and litigating product liability suits filed against developers and manufacturers.
She has achieved successful outcomes for clients in the courtroom, including protecting a client from an expansion of the West Virginia Unfair Trade Practices Act. Lauren is committed to strategically representing, informing, and defending her clients.
Lauren is also involved in DRI – Lawyers Representing Business, the largest association of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel. Within DRI, Lauren currently serves as the Chair of the Center for Law and Public Policy’s Social Inflation Task Force and has served on the Young Lawyers Committee. She has spoken on panels about the topics of combatting nuclear verdicts and training the next generation of trial lawyers.
Lauren received her J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers honors. She also served as an executive editor on the West Virginia Law Review.
