Marc works and serves in the area of state and local financings in two primary areas: (1) traditional governmental purposes, like government buildings, roads and bridges, water and wastewater projects, public universities and Ohio school districts; and (2) projects for 501(c)(3) organizations, such as health care providers (acute care and long term care), private higher educational institutions and private K-12 schools. Not unexpected given his experience and years of practice, Marc has participated in a diversity of financing structures involving fixed rate bonds, variable rate bonds, commercial paper transactions, put option structures, remarketing’s, forward purchase transactions, tender offers, tax- exempt and taxable refunding’s, among other financing structures.

In addition to representing governmental bodies, Marc represents investment banks, trustees and lenders. In the course of representing banks for the direct purchase of tax-exempt bonds or in connection with credit enhancements and liquidity facilities for issues of tax-exempt bonds, Marc has developed substantial proficiency.
