Melanie Aghayane

Associate

Melanie concentrates her practice on Labor and Employment, where she represents employers in a broad range of employment matters. She focuses on defending clients against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, whistleblower allegations, and other workplace-related issues. Melanie also has experience advising employers on workplace compliance and risk management matters, including workplace policies, termination procedures, and employee handbooks. She works closely with her clients to provide guidance on navigating employment issues and minimizing legal risks.

Prior to joining the Firm, Melanie earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she served as a Technical Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. During law school, she participated in the Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic and Employment Clinic.
