Mona K. Ibadi

Associate

Mona Ibadi is an Associate at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Huntington, West Virginia office. Her practice is primarily centered in civil litigation defense, with a focus on personal injury and premises liability. In her practice, she skillfully manages a number of legal matters, and has extensive experience developing cases for trial while ardently advocating for the best interests of her clients.  As a Wake Forest  School of Law alum, Mona is superior in both her written and oral advocacy, and approaches every case with zealous preparedness and tenacity. At Dinsmore, Mona serves in the Advancement and Retention Subcommittee of Women’s Initiative and co-hosted the 2025 Dinsmore Women’s Symposium.

Prior to joining Dinsmore, Mona completed her Political Science degree at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey before attending Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, NC. At Wake Forest, she served as Symposium Editor of the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, Treasurer of Firearms Awareness Club, and Professional Development Chair of First Generation Law Student Society. She also was a Finalist in the 2022 Cynthia J. Zeliff Mock Trial Competition, made the Sweet Sixteen in the Trial Bar Competition during her first year of law school, and was accepted into the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic.
