Murphy focuses her practice on public finance matters, serving as bond counsel to issuers of tax-exempt obligations for financing a variety of projects.
Murphy graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She was actively involved in student organizations and advocacy programs, served as Vice President of the Pitt Law Women’s Association, and participated in multiple mock trial and moot court competitions where she gained valuable experience in legal analysis and courtroom procedure.
In recognition of her bright future in the public finance field, The National Association of Bond Lawyers awarded Murphy the 2025 Frederic L. Ballard, Jr. Memorial Scholarship.
