Steffi is a member of Dinsmore’s Employment practice group in Tampa, where she advises employers on issues arising throughout the employment relationship. She counsels on workforce decisions, conducts workplace investigations, drafts and reviews policies and employment agreements, and helps multistate employers navigate state and local requirements. She also represents employers before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts in discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, restrictive covenant, and other employment disputes.
Her litigation experience is broad. Across both public- and private-sector representations, Steffi has handled complex employment and civil-rights disputes, constitutional and statutory issues, land-use and development matters, railroad and transportation litigation, and significant tort and wrongful-death claims. That breadth has sharpened her ability to identify the issues that matter most and recognize how early factual and legal decisions can shape the course of a matter.
Steffi takes time to understand how a client operates and what it is trying to accomplish. Particularly drawn to research-intensive questions and developing areas of law, she brings the same rigor to counseling and litigation. Her goal is to provide clear, practical advice grounded in the realities of the client’s business and attentive to what may come next.
Before entering private practice, Steffi served as a judicial intern to the Honorable George B. Daniels of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. A proud Triple Gator, she earned all three of her degrees from the University of Florida, where she received the Helen Gibel Blechman Memorial Community Service Award for outstanding pro bono contributions and the Past, Present & Future Excellence Award.
Outside the office, Steffi enjoys trying recipes from New York Times Cooking and exploring new places on foot, especially historic neighborhoods, distinctive architecture, and scenic trails.
