Zina Gabsi

Associate of Counsel

Zina represents financial institutions in both litigation and transactional matters, with a hybrid practice that centers equally on commercial real estate and financial services. Her clients turn to Zina for counsel throughout the full life cycle of commercial loans, from structuring and documenting transactions to resolving issues that arise during a deal or after default.

In her transactional practice, she drafts and negotiates commercial real estate–secured and asset‑backed finance documents, purchase and sale agreements, and commercial leases. She also serves as a title agent in commercial real estate transactions. Clients regularly seek out Zina to manage complex due diligence on vital real estate milestones and documentation, including title and survey review, organizational documents, construction materials, and service contracts such as property management agreements. She works closely with lenders, buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants to ensure clear documentation and a smooth closing process.

Zina’s litigation experience includes representing financial institutions in complex disputes in state and federal courts. She regularly defends claims under major consumer lending and financial services statutes—including the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act—as well as matters involving Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations. Her practice also includes business and financial disputes such as partnership and shareholder conflicts and derivative actions.

Across both areas of work, Zina is committed to helping clients navigate operational challenges, resolve disputes efficiently, and move their transactions forward with confidence.

In her free time, Zina enjoys playing tennis and cheering on the Florida Gators.
