Covington Managing Partner Spotlighted by Cincinnati Business Courier

In July 2025, the Cincinnati Business Courier named Covington Managing Partner Sarah Cameron to its 40 Under 40 list. The list recognizes rising stars in the business community who have distinguished themselves in their companies, communities and industries.

Throughout the year, the Courier has introduced each honoree and shared more about them in Q&A conversations.

What was your first job? I worked during the summer at a family-owned grocery store in Eastern Kentucky. My job was to wipe coal dust off the products.

Favorite vacation spot? I am an adventurer, so I rarely go to the same place twice, but I can’t wait to go back to San Jose Island in Panama.

What’s the most recent experience you’ve crossed off your bucket list? We visited the Christmas markets in Germany and France this past Christmas season, and it was everything I dreamed of.

Something you learned recently? The rules of pickleball. I had been playing it wrong with my kids.

What would you tell your 18-year-old self? Keep working hard – it’s all worth it.

If you could give someone else an award, who would it be and why? My neighbor should get a most valuable player award for the last 10 years. She’s always been there to support my balance of motherhood and career. We all need a village, and she’s mine.

You suddenly have a free afternoon. What do you do? Start planning my next adventure.

What’s your fitness routine? Orangetheory Fitness. I try to go four times a week.

Favorite lunch spot or watering hole? The Gruff in Covington for lunch. Same order every time: kale salad, blackened salmon and lemon vinaigrette.

What’s a community issue that needs more attention? Expanding afterschool programs that provide hands-on experience in trades and technology.

What are we likely to find in your refrigerator? Raspberries are my favorite feel-good treat.

What scares you? There is this rubber snake that my kids throw at me as soon as I forget they have it – it’s pretty terrifying, but keeps me on my toes.
