Biography
Rob is the co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He represents clients in sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects throughout the country. Rob has extensive experience representing landlords, tenants, property managers and brokers with commercial leasing, ground lease and sale leaseback transactions and routinely handles matters related to retail, restaurant, multifamily, medical, office, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
Representative project highlights include:
- Redevelopment of century old bottling plant into 12-acre mixed-use office, retail, hotel and entertainment complex which has been lauded in numerous publications including Time’s World’s Greatest Places, Forbes, National Geographic and USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards
- Represented purchaser in largest ever single-property apartment acquisition in Indiana
- Management of all leasing matters for portfolio consisting of over 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space
- Represented developer in acquisition and redevelopment of nearly 1 million square foot downtown retail mail
Rob achieved the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate designation. This designation demonstrates core knowledge of green building principles and practices and the LEED Green Building Rating System which supports sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings and neighborhoods.
