The Hamilton County (OH) Prosecutor and Board of County Commissioners selected Dinsmore as counsel in two high-profile and significant projects – leading lease negotiations for Paycor Stadium with the Cincinnati Bengals and advising on the continued development of The Banks, a mixed-use development along the Ohio River, next to Paycor Stadium, that currently features a variety of retail, entertainment and dining establishments.
Encompassing legal, business and political elements, the lease negotiations presented a number of challenges, all of which were handled within a media spotlight, given the prominence of the Bengals. Our team worked closely with all parties to ultimately finalize a new lease agreement to keep the Bengals in Cincinnati, providing stability for the future and strengthening the partnership between the county and the team.
Our team is also advising future real estate and construction matters around The Banks, continuing to evolve a strategic plan that enables the site to become a valuable centerpiece of downtown Cincinnati. Our team continues to work in close partnership with the county, as well as other political and business leaders, to ensure long-term success and stability for the betterment of the Hamilton County and its residents.
