Thomas W. Dinwiddie

Biography

Tom’s practice covers a broad range of commercial subjects. His clients represent diverse businesses and professional interests including real estate, real estate finance, real estate development, and banking. His real estate clients include the leading single-family and multi-family mortgage lenders and the most successful commercial real estate investors and developers in Indiana. 

His experience with state and federal mortgage licensing and regulation has garnered him recognition as a resource on real estate finance topics. His relationship with the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association covers more than 30 years, and during that time Tom drafted some of the most important Indiana mortgage lending statutes. The first recipient of the Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association Distinguished Service Award, Tom speaks to the group on real estate finance and compliance issues. He represents mortgage banking companies across the country, giving his mortgage banking practice a national scope. Tom regularly counsels out-of-state borrowers and lenders on Indiana law. He also possesses experience in construction issues and resolving business and financial disputes.
