Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for bankruptcy/insolvency associates based in its expanding Los Angeles office. Applicants should have one – five years of workout, insolvency and/or bankruptcy related experience. Through its national insolvency practice, Dinsmore represents Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, secured lenders, creditors, receivers, committees, debtors and equity sponsors, as well as purchasers of assets from bankruptcy estates. Experience with all phases of bankruptcy cases and proceedings is preferred, including counseling of clients with respect to rights and remedies, developing risk management strategies, and litigating adversary proceedings and contested matters in the bankruptcy court.

A license to practice in California is required. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $190,000 – $212,000 and up to $40,000 + in bonus potential. This is not inclusive of our full range, and actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
