Brian J. Talcott

Senior Associate

Brian is a civil litigator with a primary focus in commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters. Whether at the pre-suit, discovery, critical motion, or appeal stages, Brian regularly advises insurance carriers on complex coverage issues, including under general liability, businessowner, and homeowner policies.

Brian strategically positions cases to achieve his clients’ desired outcomes, whether that be a favorable resolution or a favorable judgment. Both often require persuasive brief writing, which Brian has developed through his practice and as a law clerk for Judge Kathryn H. Vratil in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. With that experience, Brian has obtained substantial victories for his clients in state, federal, and appellate courts.
