Biography
Allyson supports clients in securing and protecting their innovations through patent preparation and prosecution, with experience handling both U.S. and international applications. Her work spans a range of industries, with a particular emphasis on petrochemicals, chemical engineering, and related technologies. She approaches intellectual property strategy with a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of how innovation moves from concept to commercialization.
Before entering the legal field, Allyson worked in research and development, contributing to compound formulation and manufacturing processes. She also gained hands-on experience in the manufacturing and energy sectors, which informs her ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful legal protections.
Clients value her thoughtful approach to IP strategy and her ability to navigate the intersection of science and law. Allyson remains actively engaged with her alma mater, the University of Michigan, where she has served as a mentor and panelist for student-led initiatives.
