Brian M. Fane


Brian has degrees in chemical engineering and a doctorate in electrochemistry, with a focus on fuel cells, electrolyzers, and redox flow batteries, which inform his practice on intellectual property and patent prosecution. His experience includes drafting patent applications, responding to USPTO office actions, reviewing invention disclosures to determine patentable features, preparing office action response strategies for foreign counsel in most relevant jurisdictions, conducting the entire invention intake process, and conducting freedom to operate/risk analysis on various chemical and mechanical designs. He received his J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School.
