Dinsmore has an immediate need for a labor and employment associate in Lexington, KY. Experience is not required. We are open to entry-level candidates licensed in Kentucky as well as those with some labor and employment experience. Entry-level associates will be trained and will work closely with our attorneys. Responsibilities include litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.
All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. A license to practice in Kentucky is required. Out of state candidates who are either willing to sit for the bar exam or eligible for admission in Kentucky will be considered.
Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $45,000 + in bonus potential.
